The Opportunity
Ideally, the new Aquatics Centre will include a competition pool, training (swimming lessons) pool and leisure pool, a bigger gym, better facilities for fitness classes, soft play and a cafe, to be open by 2027.
Ipswich Borough Council are seeking development partners and/or funding partners to proceed with this large-scale, landmark development project.
Situated in Ipswich town centre, just a few steps from Ipswich Town’s Premier League football ground, this development could work in conjunction with the wider Portman Road Masterplan to include, 4 star Hotel, Multi-storey car park and public realm.
